Sega to SNES Controller Adapter

This sounds REALLY plausible.

If there's no other SNES accessory that requires similar adaptation...

Now I'm thinking... Is it really SNES? Didn't the CPS Changer have the same SNES-style input?

 

I am pretty sure you can use a Mega Drive control pad on a Master System as well :shrug:

In fact I saved this picture a while ago which shows the packaging for the European Official Sega Mega Drive Control Pad:-

Which states on the front of the box:-
"COMPATIBLE WITH THE SEGA Master System (Use Buttons B&C only)"

 

This might be a long shot, but you sure it isn't some adapter for use with clone hardware? Those pins look exactly like almost all the clone hardware I've seen.

 

It's the SFC cable for the HORI Fighting Stick Multi.

 

Is it definately for a HORI stick? I can't find any pics on the net? It does sound very plausable though.

Not much I doubt, unless someone had the stick and not the adapter.

Which leads me to...

...funnily enough I threw out the stick it goes with minus that very adapter around 3 months back.

 

I'll keep the lead and try and find a HORI fighting stick multi to go with it. Does anyone know a good place to get one?
