Like last year (and two years before that) I'm releasing some Saturn stuff as an X-mas 'present'. I'm doing it the same way as last year; people can vote what stuff they want to see released. Voting ends December 24. If you have questions about a certain alpha/beta; ask away. If you want to host the release(s) you could leave a message as well. Scorcher and Tomb raider for me. I guess the PAL and NTSC betas are idential from the Japanese versions or other region but just in a different Video Format or with English text over Japanese. Come on guys, don't waste your chance to get something really cool. Yakumo
You do understand that the Riven disc is probably going to be pretty much the same as the retail version unless Segafreak_NL can tell us otherwise. yakumo
I haven't made a 1-on-1 comparison with the retail version of Riven, I can't say. What I can say is that Scorcher does look very much like retail, (it's a BETA after all) but again I haven't made a 1-on-1 comparion.
You'd be surprised how fun it is. I vote Tomb Raider but Scorcher is a close second. I'll be happy to issue bandwidth if you do a torrent or something, wish I had some real hosting to offer up.
It would be pretty safe to say that Tomb Raider will be released. It's only 7MB or so (1 level + gym + interface/options) so that won't be a problem. Scorcher will -probably- be the one for December 26.
