    Well, it was a disc for press by SEGA Germany labeled PAL BETA I think.

    Hmm, I've never seen a beta with a printed label before - interesting!

    What kind of media is it on?

    I bet some unscrupulous person tries using that CD pic and makes a copy

    You wouldn't really need to use that pic to be honest. The label is so basic you could knock it up in Photo Shop in a matter of 10 minutes. It would be wise just to remove the picture all together before anyone else sees it.

    You got a keen eye ;)

    As for the music, I've listened to the track (quite nice) but it doesn't ring a bell. Perhaps it's from another Scavenger game..(Amok? Into the Shadows?)

    you can see the print under the label. If you own a Philips CDR from that time period it's quite easy to recognize.

    It is genuine, I've bought it in a bundle with several other press discs like that and some others without label.
