Self-respecting female gaming enthusiasts?

Back when G4 first started they actually were pretty cool. Of course back then their shows were mostly about games.

To be honest, I think these things are great as it is teaching timing, which frankly is a pain in the ass when you are learning to play in a band.

A game that teaches drummers to stop tapping on tables and shut the hell up when you are trying to pick out a guitar tune or tune up would be a God send!

Of course playing REAL instruments would be even better, but so long as nobody actually thinks they are going to appear on Top of the Pops (Christmas special) because they can get a high score, then all is well.

Who knows, being able to vent their idea of being a musician in the living room might just satisfy the curiosity of the next generation of crap musicians who should never even own a MySpace Music site.... like me for example lol.

 

Yup! I learned a lot of drumming coordination from Rock Band drums. There not totally real or anything but they helped a lot. The other things do show timing like you said too.

The biggest thing is that with 4 people that game is just plain fun! I never play it now though, I noticed. I'd rather get my own drums and stuff! Already got the guitar part down, too bad I can't play it too well.
