If it's just a copy the price is too high. If you have the original the price is OK. Do you really have it? I sent you a PM. Show me the disc and some pictures please.
You should place this thread in the marketplace and take a picture of the disc with your name on it etc.
Considering you only have one post and to drop a bomb shall like this more evidence will be needed mate before people open their wallets! Gotta say would be could to do an community effort for this.
If that really was Curator from PlayStation Museum under a different name looking to sell his copy of the Resident Evil 2 prototype then I'd recommend keeping your head down because all hell is due to break loose very soon after what he did last time regarding this very disc, which I should point out is not the most complete build known to be out there. Still, the video footage made available confirms that it was quite far along and would surely be a goldmine to fans of the series and prototype collectors alike since there are no guarantees more advanced versions will ever see the light of day. As I said before, you should expect fireworks around this one because it's considered by many to be THE holy grail of unreleased games and if this is a genuine sale attempt it's clear that Curator may have learned a few lessons since the last time he was here...
I've emailed ASSEMbler so just waiting to see what he reckons on the matter. Also emailed PSM and he says pictures will be up soon so I guess we just sit tight till then
Hoooolllllllly fuckin shit! This is the day we have all been waiting for..... Whos got $3,000?!?!?!?!?! =P I know I don't.
This time the buyer NEEDS to make this public, though I have a feeling at $3K it's going to be a community job anyway...
think so too. But im also pretty sure that here enough users with the bugs. But an 3k buy from an zero member posting something like this...
Don't think it being a community release this time can be expressed enough. Be such a good achievement for unreleased gaming. I honestly don't think it would take long to raise the money for it if we reached out to other sites who have been interested in the past. GManWillis That would be such a good start!
i ve remember curator initially selling for 100k (1 million yens) then lowered for 10k (100k yens), hope this guy is not curator, if he is telling the truth then i will try to learn to use paypal.
i think dot 50 cal should tell bioflames forum about this. if i remember correct curator did have the game, but after showing to the public and tried to sell capcom "took him down", wasn´t it?
A moderator at Capcom's US message board was alterted to Curator's activities, which prompted him to remove a lot of the footage and screenshots he'd originally provided for this game on the PlayStation Museum soon after buying the disc in fear of legal repercussions. I can't imagine the person he got the prototype from being the original source, but obviously Capcom felt they could get one step closer and were prepared to go all the way in their pursuit to recover their lost property. After all, the leak of a near-complete version would seriously harm any plans the company may have to reissue this as bonus content in the near future... not to mention it would throw up many contradictions in the plot of later sequels because even they must surely know a lot of fans are desperate to get their hands on this one!
