Sequent's wipEout collection

Just a wee note to people, the HD press kit doesn't play on a retail unit, at least not mine. The kits itself comes with pkg files (on the USB card) to run on a TEST PS3, but on the retail unit (PAL) it doesn't show up.

Some more items arrived today: wipEout XL for Sega Saturn, wipEout 2097 soundtrack and the Sega Saturn wipEout Perfect Guide book, which is like a strategy guide for the original wipEout on Saturn (in Japanese).

 

awesome collection of wipeout games... I''ve been meaning to nab a HD presskit before they become impossible to find.. any estimates on what I'd be looking to spend on one?

Dear Sequent: as a fellow wipeout freak, that's a very inspiring collection.

Does anyone know if Wipeout HD was released as a retail hardcopy in the Philippines or anywhere else in Asia?

There's a Philippines retail copy on ebay right now... do a search for "Wipeout HD" - the guy has 100% feedback.

I haven't heard about that, and haven't been able to find any more info about it. Perhaps it's somehow a pirate copy? Or maybe legit? Any info appreciated.

 

I've gathered a few more items over the last month, specifically the wipEout: The Music and Wip3out: Arcade soundtracks, plus two PC versions of wipEout (one US and one Japanese), wipEout and wipEout 2097 PAL versions for the Saturn and the PSP wipEout Pulse press kit.
