Alright, both of these are for Pentium 3 Xeon type processors, which I have (and of which 2 are installed on one) This first one is basically complete: Large: http://www.aborman.com/albums/Stuffffs/100_0954.jpg It has ram (nothing fancy, just to test it), a basic video card, and stuff like that. What I need though, is what type of power supply do I need? Do I need both 20 pin connectors to be used? And the 6 pin? Whats the white plug towards the top of the picture? This one is still stripped down: Large: http://www.aborman.com/albums/Stuffffs/100_0955.jpg Question is, where does the ram go? And the same power supply question as before. Anyone mind identifying the ports on on this one, most arent familiar to me. I recognize the processor slots and PCI slots, but would anyone mind identifying (basically) the rest? Ive had these lying around for a while now, so its time to put them to use. Ive also got a P3 one, though I only have 1 processor and no heat sink, so that can stay in the drawer.
- The two 20-pin might be for multiple power supplies. - The 6-pin is for AUX power supplied from the power supply, I think more for server-based PSU. - I'm guessing the big white plug is for a VRM. As far as ports, you got IDE, Floppy, SCSI, PCI, PCI-X, and I'm not sure what the two brown ones are next to the PCI slots (I'm guessing one of them is AGP), audio cables for CD/DVD drives (front corner of the board next to the CMOS battery and what I'd guess as two power connectors). Would be best to find a manual for this board if possible.
