Hi, I'm back! I've still got a bit more to give, so Happy 2018 ya'll! For some reason, the proto seems to post-date the release by a couple months, so...I dunno? There are many differences in the coding, but not idea if/how they show up in the game.

Ballz was one of the very few games initially intended to use an unreleased AT&T modem. But since the modem wasn't released the modem options in the game were disabled in the final release.

 

so it was like that, whats it call X somthing modem that alowed cross platform (i think) with the snes and megadrive

 

Tagging @Lunchbox in hopes the one with the modem sees this and chimes in...

 

I Dont believe the demo/prototype version worked either. Im not sure if the modem requires a card to unlock the modem function or not but, i was sent the rom and i tried it but had no luck :/
