It is CIB! Kind of anyway, missing internal cardboard so I filled it up with packing foam for the time being. Other than that though, complete and great condition!
Nice stuff man, love the big box Super Metroid! I recommend Top Gear 3000 if you haven't already got it
I have a bunch of loose cartridges not pictured, Top Gear 3000 is in there! Basically, loose cartridges get replaced as I buy boxed SNES games. Otherwise I just try find boxed ones for a decent price - so much crack pipe pricing on eBay! haha Saturn games have also seen a considerable update, but I keep a bunch of items aside that need something replaced - being covers, a manual or a box.
How do you afford to amass such a collection whilst being a student? I have a collection, you have the makings of a private museum.
Work hard, spend it on games, go without other things to make it all work. Pretty much waste my time buying crap while procrastinating from study. LOL Plus, this would be the 7th year of collecting it all...
Difference between working 5 days a week and 7 days a week definitely does! Plus, I literally spend everything on games.... not the smartest thing to do, but it keeps me sane while trying to complete thesis!
True! Although... beer and smokes help kill brain cells, which would result in fewer games entertaining you for much longer than they normally would. Yay science!
Minor updates, more to come once I organise some more stuff... Unfortunately, due to the rarity and difficultly in finding some 32X games, I've resulted to buying a couple reproductions. Common titles I'll grab in original form, but the rare stuff is usually out of my reach, be it by price or rarity. So... Darxide, Blackthorne, Primal Rage, T-Mek, Pitfall, Spiderman - all reproductions. Amazing quality, clearly visible they are reproductions though due to the cartridges saying Genesis on the rear and the off colour/difference in cardboard used. Work perfectly, I've opened them up and all custom chips too.
You could just get the US versions (except for Darxide). But I guess you're only interested in PAL releases?
I could, and I have thought about doing that. Eventually I will attempt getting some NTSC titles whether it is the exclusive ones or the whole set, but at the moment I'm trying to get all the PAL items. That, and the shipping costs out of US have gone up considerably - it makes it difficult to justify. I'd need to source an NTSC Megadrive and 32X at that point to so it doesn't look out of place, and at the eBay prices for postage ($80 for a console, $30 for a game) that I have seen so far it's just out of my reach. I may have more luck finding items direct through someone on here though in future, which is an avenue I am definitely willing to take!
