    About that Chinese Page

All it says is that Sega's big announcement at E3 2004 is the debut of it's new console, and the SDC on the boxes could stand for "Super Dreamcast".

The office in those pictures look too neat and clean to be a real office, haha. Plus, those pics remind me of the CGIs advertisements and early screen shots of games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

I have to agree there. The office background doesn't look right along side the boxes. And can you really see Sega writing "The Beast Is Back" on their new console? Not really the thinking of a Japanese company that. All we can do is keep our hopes up :prayer: I know Sega have been advertising on TV a lot these days and even sponsored the Footy (soccer) match between Japan and Czech last week. maybe they have come in to a bit of hidden fortune :smt023

Gamespot, or some other company, says that Sega is announcing an alliance to one of the current consoles, and that they will co-develop the next version of that console.

You can bet your ass it won't be Nintendo or Sony.

Well it is highly likely that will happen. Like I said before: "Sega will become M$'s bitch."

Well, that sounds more believable, although I wouldn't like Sega being a partner of Microsoft or any other company. I think they deserve their own kick ass system

I don't think any of the other big 3 have eluded to this. Then again, this is an age where getting a million hits on your website, whether it's a lie or whatever, is still a million hits on your website.

In short - the "Sega Informant" that posted at Gamespot or wherever the original article was, is probably just as full of shit as the guy that rendered "The Beast is Back" boxes (a logo that if Sega used, deserve to lose all their money again).

What do these guys say when the smoke clears anyway? It's not like this is the first time there's been a lot of conflicting reports, and nobody ever seems to bring it up again when it turns out they've been pumping out hot air.

I like in those pics how the other boxes have NOTHING on them Also the floor is super clean and apparently for stacking all them boxes right up near the door there was enough room towards he back for some dude to stand there and take a picture.

Sega is out of debt? Why do i find it hard that 10 years of crapping up isn't going to be erased by 2 years of being a software developer....

wait lol they did get bought by sammy (or did that fall thru...ugh i've forgotten everything relating to sega! Shame on me :p)

sega is damm clever theve got offices inside of nintendo , m$ etc so they know wot each of them is capable of making so if they do make a console itll be far superior to anything that the next gen consoles can produce

Hmm... Sega to make announcement, means they MUST be making another console.

Well, I'll believe that when I see it. They don't have the money left for R&D, let alone production.

Perhaps it really is something obvious but they're throwing us off the scent? Sega/Nintendo partnership, maybe? lol

Peeps over there, let us know in the morning the REAL story

    Bad Idea

That would be a bad idea, a VERY bad idea. Nintendo already has the GBA out then, then they are releasing the DS and Sony has the PSP. Not to mention all the various PDA type things like the Tapwave Zodiac and the more underground ones like the GP32.
