I don't even need to say anything, you already know what I'm going to say. Get a 360, It'll be cheaper in the long run.
Depends. If you don't have any other purchase priorities and can justify the high price, get one. If it's for the games , don't, wait. If it's for the purpose of using it as a BD-player, get it, it's decent and well priced. If it's for owning a next-gen system, risk (yes risk) getting a 360 (Risk arising out of the eventually faulty unit you ll own)
I want one for my Hi-def setup 1080 movies. I will get one once my house has its loft done (prob end of summer time). Still unsure if to get a HK unit as games are region free?? (Heard Blu-ray isnt region free mind ... but I tend to import my movies from HK any way) As for the 360 I want one to use but not till I know its not going to red ring in a week.
Not after you've paid Microsoft $80 each time it fails. Rumour has it they're now fitting repaired units with a second heat sink though, so you should only have to pay for one repair.... Dave.
spending £400+ on a machine with to few decent titles to warrant a purchase, a Blu-ray player i`ll personally not use for years most likely and as i don`t own an HD TV i would feel i wasnt getting m moneys worth. The 360`s appear to be faulty as Fuck, i think Dead Rising is really the only game I was interested in playing. The Xbox 360 never looks likely to have any really obscure or weird titles, Then again the PS3 might not either. As was the case where PS2 had far less interesting and original content than the PS1 in my opinion. As this seems to be my own little rant about the next gen machines, i`ll add i really enjoy playing the Wii, problem is my tv is like 4 feet from my bed and i dont have the room to use one, maybe downstairs but i`m lazy. So lol so far this generation hasn`t really taken off for me yet, apart from owning the 360 XDK which is currently doing nothing. :icon_bigg
I am also wondering if I should get one or not, even though it will be free with a load of vouchers I have via a promtion I was just checking out the games in my local HMV and a lot probably 70-80% plus all show only in 720, not many at 1080 Bit poor really, when I`m sure the ratio for the 360 is almost exactly the opposite
