Site changes and upgrade roadmap 2013-2014

    I've fixed some small graphical issues, and a lot of server side issues for far better performance.

    I noticed people (a minority) wanted a dark theme again, so if people want to suggest some paid templates for VBB 4,
    I will evaluate them.

    I've also looked at tapatalk and the issue I have is they make money off the site with ads. It also is for a minority of users who use tapatalk.
    If you can get more than 50 votes in a survey, I will install it.

    The wiki should return, but I need volunteers to admin it with me. I will make a subdomain for it.

    If you have any suggestions, ELABORATE, present the benefit and post links to relevant product / info. Do NOT just blurt out "get this"
    as it will be ignored.

    Auction and sale site is coming in 2014.
    Site merchandise is coming before Christmas.
    Site store is coming 2013.
    Podcast / video stream is coming, first session is this month.
    Seedbox.
    Private ftp depending on price of vpn or low cost server space.
    HD video channel , I am actively looking for studio space to record in.

    We will also have some paid contract employee work coming up.

    Private FTP would seem really useful, along with the rest proposed. Very cool changes, great to see new things happening, keep it up. :)
    I can do some paid work, I am fairly experienced in web, back-end and general programming work.

    I'll put my offer out to help moderate the wiki page if you like. I always check the rules out for changes and have them memorized for the most part. I don't know everything about all consoles but my knowledge does go a bit further than the average gamer person and I'm always learning new stuff. I like learning interesting things about consoles and especially ones that are at least 10 years old since release. If the vb4 software has a bit of a learning curve to it I can learn. I excel at learning technical stuff. I think in the time I've been here that my reputation proves I'm not about to abuse power or anything like that.

    Is it just me, or do we have an issue with the blurb under user names?

    I'm seeing Join Date tabulated to the right, with the year now on a second line, compared to the Location being dead left... although I think I saw Segafreaks location split onto two lines where I don't remember it being so before.

    What ads? you can monetize links clicked via the app if you like, but money comes to you and it can be disabled. I do not see ANY ads in tapatalk on pretty much any site I use it for...

    I also volunteer for wiki administration

    I'm down as fuck for some shirts. I'm in need of some new ones and would buy them in a few different colors.

    Any idea of cost? It'd be nice if we were aware of what brand shirt they're printed onto so i can speculate on shrinkage for size.

    Cold water strikes again.

    I had plannes on black but I am sure when I do the first batch I can have them do custom amount of whatever color.

    I disagree. It is hard enough to figure out some people's intent on the internet as it is, but smilies can at least give some context of the poster's intent.

    Also, I'm not sure what performance improvements were made, but I'm finding the site noticeably more sluggish than last night.

    There's massive network issues in the midwest because of the flooding.

    CMD, tracert assemblergames.com and look at all the timeouts.
