Hi all, I'm looking for a 2004 lcd screen to mod onto the front of my xbox (this is to go with the awesome xblast chip from Bennydiamond!). The ones I come across on eBay have quite a big PCB meaning that if I put the lcd onto the front of the xbox I'd lose ports 3 & 4. Like the XLCD screen for the X3 chip, I'm looking for a small form lcd. Does anyone know where I could get hold of one? Cheers

That looks pretty good, hadn't thought to check Farnell, thanks. Searching through the forums and google I was surprised that this hadnt been asked more as I would have thought that an lcd mod would be high up on the 'nice-to-have' mod lists. If you want a 20x04 lcd screen and want to keep ports 3 & 4 choices seem limited (or perhaps not as cost effective). Funnily enough I did come across this thread buried in the archives - that project looks awesome!
Well i once thought about something different. Everyone installs this 4x20 monochrome Displays to have some sort off character output. But how cool would it be to install a pretty small black and white CRT screen? Did a small test a while back and the only thing that stopped me from foing this is the depth off the screen...! I think this mod would definitely look great!
