lol, me too - mostly Matchbox, Corgi and Majorette stuff though. I'm sickened by the stuff they sell kids these days, especially Matchbox - they don't seem to make any normal looking cars (or even real ones half the time) any more. -_-

even my old man doesn't collect cars - just simple matter of space...
I mean he hardly have space for his car in front of house let alone two... even his summer house in Seoul comes with just single underground parking space and he's paying through the nose according to him...

for me I got a garage that's half filled with my junk and what space left is for our two cars...
I can't imagine what she will say if I drive to home with another car... :p and another one following day...

This may sound weird, but I have a small collection (probably under twenty) of plastic bags with different shop's logos from around the world. Mostly game and music shops. My dad travels a lot and usually gets me things on his trips. They usually come in said bags. I have kept the bags in part because they come from other countries, but mostly because they come from my father.

Oh yeah! I had a pretty big collection of Magic the Gathering cards. I had a few card binders worth of them. I never played the game nor did I learn to, but I just liked the pictures of the monsters and whatnot. My mom went through them one day and told me to get rid of them since they were the devils cards or something like that. I made about $50 by selling them all at Danny's Pawn shop. That means I had LOADS of cards, (probably close to 1000) since Danny is a cheapskate.

My only real 'collection' these days would be my vgs and vg related materials. I will grab anything including posters, cups, stickers, t-shirts, cd sts and so on. This has slowed down quite a bit, due to finances and rethinking what I want to keep or sell.

I am also trying to expand my Tangerine Dream music collection. Right now I'm at 32 cds, but will hopefully ballon to 70+ when i am finished. I focus mainly on their '68 (and Pre '68) to '86 era, with some scattered albums after '86.

I still have my old toy and comic collection, that now 'collects' dust at my parents house.

How about some pics, I'm curious to see how many vehicles you get to pick from and drive. :smt023

    Oh man, where to start....

Star Wars: figures only, no vehicles or playsets. Although I do have the cardbaord jabba's palace and cantina backdrops

Godzilla/other assorted giant monster figures: Preferably about all the same size, so I can play with them when nobody's looking

Other assorted action figures: Spawn, Toxic Crusaders, He-man, etc. Although lately I haven't been keeping up with them much and am planning on getting rid of the non-essentials

EGM: at one point I had every issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly, then sold them all for peanuts like a dumbass, then slapped myself in the head when I discovered Ebay and realized I could have gotten hundreds for them, now in the proccess of colleting them all again and have about 25%

Other assorted magazines: I used to collect a UK wierd stuff magazine called Bizzare before it got lame, Hacker magazines (2600, Blacklisted, etc.) Goth magazines, although I'm not really into that bullshit anymore, Retro gamer, which is possibly the coolest magazine ever, plus I have a pretty large collection of "Zines," a.k.a those homemade magazines you pick up at punk shows, record stores, etc. (I used to put one out called Soul Excitement before moving it all to the website)

Comics: Oh man, don't get me started. I used to hit up the 25 cent bins at conventions and just buy them by the shitload, although I mostly buy them only occasionally now for the art (since that's what I want to like, do for a living and everything.)

Coffee table books of cool artists: H.R. Giger, Wayne Barlowe, Wrightson (the guy who created Swamp thing, incredible artist,) Frank Frazetta, etc. Mostly comic/fantasy art.

As people can probably tell from the everytime you buy thread, I collect Iron Maiden Gear, focusing on getting all the music before the merchandise.

Currently own 22 CD albums (including 3 double albums in a ltd. ed. collectors tin), and various CD and vinyl singles, as well as a few vinyl albums. Also own 2 out of 3 official DVD's and the only UMD.
Also, once a new T-Shirt I have in the post arrives, I will have one for every day of the week
