As a US gamer I was happy to hear this for the Uk. It's hard enough waiting for a game to be released but even worse when the rest of the world has it. I hope the ps3 version is region free so we can use the new characters also or maybe dlc for them.

Wouldn't it be nice if square gave extra content to countries that have to wait for their localizations.

I'm sure all the new stuff will be available as a free update for the Japanese/US versions. Hopefully PSN/XBL will help somewhat in reducing the need to purchase a whole new game for small updates like we saw with Street Fighter 2 and Guilty Gear XX. I don't mind paying a reasonable amount for a decent update, but anything akin to ^ Core -> ^ Core +, or Super SF2 -> Super SF2 Turbo should be free.

I'll be more than happy to purchase the UK version too as I'm really enjoying the game and want to support Ark System Works' incredible effort *glares at SNKP*.

i dunno really, i've never been a big fan of fighting games and i got my copy of blazblue kinda as an impulse buy :p

it's pretty nice tho, atleast for me as i seriously suck at any type of games that don't feature turn based combat, Blazblue was surprisingly easy to pick up and it didn't take more than 20 minutes or so to learn some moves and start doing some progress on the story mode.

i gotta agree that there's atleast some challenge to balance the easy noob-mode :p i tried the score attack or whatever it is and got my ass handed to me in a box... nine times :p

im still not a big fighter fan but BB is something i actually enjoy playing occasionally for a round or two or a chapter of the storymode :p

It's nice.. it's VERY pretty. However, it feels shallow. I bought this right before MvC2 came to the PSN, and I got the empty case with voucher at gamestop. Honestly, MvC2 still is a much better game. Sure it's much uglier. Some of the sprites look downright childish now. However, it still gives me that feeling of glee when I play it.

BB is very pretty, and it works. I'm not saying it's broken.. but like GG games for me in the past, it's simply middle of the road.
