Jurai, if you have something to say then please refrain from childish name calling. People collect or buy and sell what they want. As for the Dev Kits, It's not like you need a license to collect devkits. Can people who collect stamps design them? I think not.

well i collect dev stuff and i don't know how to code. And cause of you i am going to buy a ps3 just to make tons of money off that piece of burnning out crap. (i don't hate ps3 just know they are all going to burn out before the box is opened)

 

Preordered a PS3 at Lik-sang, no idea if they can deliver or not. Still, it's free, so worth a shot.

Still, I bet gamestop is going to do a ton of package deals online(that's all their online preoreders are). I wonder if they have everything come new in their packages, or are they dicks and open the games/accessories so you can't return them.

And why do people get pissed about people reselling on ebay? It's not like it effects you, and if they paid for it, then thats their right.

In reference to a comment made on the first page....ebay is NOT killing all PS3 auctions. There are just going to be consequences for anyone who can't actually ship a console 30 days after auction-end.

If anyone's listing auctions, you might not necessarily want to use "Buy it Now", or at least you might want to approve winning bidders before taking the auction down. Some guy named "PS3suckx" bid on the top 2 completed auctions (like $2900 and $2480) and he has zero feedback. I'll bet there will be a lot of this from people pissed about all the reselling.

Is anyone going to brave the TMX Elmo hordes for a chance at TRU this Sunday?

 

Just got my reservation here in Japan. One is for the 20 gig and one is for the 60 gig. The store has 40 systems confirmed for delivery so I should be in the clear on launch day.

 

Japan-Games.com was kind enough to tell me about this offer this morning while I was still asleep The missus wasn't too happy but I rushed out to the car (putting my pants on first of course :lol: ) bombed it down to the Shimonoseki Best Denki to only find out they weren't doing pre-orders. Bollocks ! Nice little earner down the drain thanks to those pricks. Oh well.

So, can someone tell me what would possess a person/group to just completely lie out their ass about something that doesn't matter?

Case in point: I drove by TRU tonight before going to the midnight showing of Saw 3. When I drove by, there was not a single person, chair or car anywhere to be seen. I went to the movie (REALLY good if you liked the other two) and when I came back, there were four people and about 10 chairs. So, I ask how long they have been there, and the response I got was "oh, we've been here since the store closed yesterday and [that guy] has been here for almost two days." Of course, "that guy" was just an empty chair. I really wish that people who want to wait in line for something would actually wait IN line.

Now, unless I went completely blind, there was nobody at all there a couple hours before, and there certainly was not anyone there waiting when I went in for preorder details Friday night. Sure, I gambled by going to the movie instead of lining up. These people (at least four of them) were in line before me and nothing was going to change that, I'm fine with that. But why bother lying about it?

Though, from what they were saying, the store manager is a "good friend" of theirs who "already has a list of who is getting the pre-orders" and a couple of them (not all of them) were just in line as a formality.
