Nope lol But thats fine, the one game i bought, viewtiful joe, is Pal60 too So it works fine. Showed up the lady in the ebgames place lol. Bought it up in Cairns the day before i left.
he he I will be in Cairns for the holiday soon... to escape the chilly weather in south... did you do the underwater scooter? was told it's pretty fancy.
Nope heh. We pretty much chilled in Cairns, it was the end of the trip so. We drove up to Cape Tribulation or whatever it was for a day, that was cool. We did the skyrail thing on the way up to that. We also took the Quicksilver boats i think it was out to the great barrier reef to snorkel and stuff
yep we are going for those trips too though we are on another tour company that has link to underwater scooter instead of helmet underwater walk...
Lighting or fingerprints heh Edit: Doh, there is one small scratch, barely noticable unless ya shove the thing in bright light heh. Anyway, gunna try and sell it, check out the other forum if interested
>>he he I will be in Cairns for the holiday soon... >>to escape the chilly weather in south... You'd be better sticking to Sydney!...it's been raining here in Cairns/Port Douglas for the last week......:-( Today is sunny tho...yay!........atlast..............the lifeguard on the beach is wearing a thick jacket and it's 26 degrees........!
hmm... let's hope the weather will be kind next week... (finger crossed.) so anything happening atm over there mate?
>>let's hope the weather will be kind next week... >>(finger crossed.) It's now day 2 of sun with atleast part of the day not being clouded over...it's getting better.... >>so anything happening atm over there mate? Spent all my time in Port Douglas, sleepy posh little village/town.....my PSP has been a life saver....Sony deserve a medal...feckin amazing machine and it's not lost it's gloss since I got it in December last year ......Going to Cairns tommorow, but don't expect anything much in gaming terms....unless you know otherwise?!!? Singapore PSP games are cool cos they include a small english manual even for Japanese games... I'll stop blocking this thread up and say no more.... Bert
The only gaming place i found in my short time there was an EBGames and Target in one of the malls. The galleria there has nothing, nor does the Pier mall from what I saw. You have to head a bit past the night markets and past the opera house looking stage in the one part of Cairns to get to the mall. Its a relatively big mall, and it has a drive-through liquor shop before it lol.
thanks for the info on Cairns..I didn't find anything while there..:-( I'll try my luck in Sydney today (flying to there today)..... (Will post anything I find with pics....although it's the Tokyo visit that'll give the most I think!) Bert.
There were a few arcades that i saw in Sydney, but i was mostly around the chinatown type area. I didnt have any time to drop by the arcades there though.
though I haven't followed the arcade scene over here for many years but it's been in its decline for a while now... TimeZone is the probably only place where one can find some arcade cabinets... otherwise pokies at the local pub/club...
