Doesn't Disney have their own software sect? Perhaps the applicable IPs will get ushered into those studios? If this is the case, I hope Disney is nice enough to employ those people booted from the closure.
Sad to see them go, even though i only enjoyed a select few games by them. Grim Fandango, probably one of the best PC games ever. Day of the Tentacle was awesome and I quite enjoyed Armed and Dangerous too.
They used to churn out really good games, but for years they've churned out nothing but shitty Star Wars games, so no loss at all in my opinion. Hopefully some other company will pick up some of the better licenses (Grim for one) and actually do something with them instead of ignoring them completely.
Rember all det good old games from them X-Wing and Tie fighter I played them alot, along with all the following once on various consoles+PC's... good day's
Sad to see them go. They made great games beginning with the c64 area, I've always been a huge fan of their Scummvm games, a shame such games aren't produced today, there would be a market for them for sure. Maniac mansion, Indy series, monkey islands, full throttle, the dig, just to name some of their masterpieces. Good bye
