I got a framed picture from our family reunion in July. When you live overseas you tend to try to shy away from the gifts becuase eventually you'll have to ship them back home. And for some reason I got nothing but books for my first 6 years in Japan then had to ship them all back to the US...heh I just tell poeple to say hello nowadays instead.
I got a drawing tablet for the PC. Its pretty neat to have, and makes my drawing easier actually. Aside from that, I got a $50 gift card for Gamestop and $50. And some chocolate covered cherries, too. Ever since I got a job, I've got most of the games I've been wanting for a while, so soon I might save up money for a monster gaming PC.
Where do all you people find family members,parents or girlfriends who even know what dev items are, and even better get you some for christmas?

They ask for a dev item and forward a link or request in advance....not what I call Christmas really, gifts should be suprises.
I didnt get much for christmas as i told my wife not to buy me anything and spend on the kids instead but i did get a few cool things lego starwars t-shirt Pirates 2 and 3 dvds Pirates novels Pirates toys some starwars novels freaky strange washable keyboard Gaming related, i got my wife guitar hero 2 and 3 for 360, singstar and a few games for ps2, and i got my son a 360, enchanted arms, eternal sonata, a 19" hdtv, a robosapien, and a laptop!
I recieved cash from parents/grandparents and work. Candy from co-workers and socks, Cliff bars and a new handgun from my parents. I bought a DS game and Vol. 4 & 5 of Family Guy for myself.
