So who else swears at their games and what are we swearing at?

If the ESRB rated games based on profanity the player utters... alot of re-released classics would have M Raitings.

This topic comes from the amount of times I mumbled "MOTHER FUCKER" at either Sonic 1 special stages or the extra stages in Mega Man 10 tonight. There was much profanity this eve.

 

For me it is the 4th special stage of Sonic CD. I get almost all aliens but the last one before I hit water and the timer runs out.

I've done my share of swearing at Sonic CD myself. but Sega saved the majority of the profanity for the final levels.

 

Most platformers, especially 3D ones, or any one with an ICE LEVEL. Those just kill me.
I need not explain what I say.

 

For me it's Virtua Fighter 2. In that game, "you fucking bitch!" is a pretty common phrase. Doesn't matter if the character I'm fighting is female or not. And then if I win, it becomes, "take that, you fucking bitch!" Also, "what the fuck was that?" or "what the fuck just happened?" are pretty common in any sufficiently frustrating game.

 

I have called Pai so many things in that game. SO MANY UNREPEATABLE PROFANE THINGS!

 

sometimes, i do, but rarely, i rarely get angry at all. something has to be seriously serious to piss me off.

 

I rage quite a bit if I have to retry a level 10 times. I usually just punch a pillow...

 

Yesterday or the day before I was playing Virtua Fighter 2 on the 360. The amount of times I said "Fuck Off" or "Cheating twat" or even "Fucking Mother Fucker" while playing against Jeffry was unbelievable. I really do hate playing that twat. Two throws and you're dead. All he does is throw as well.

 

I Really don't like that guy.

 

Ninja Gaiden (the original and the new ones), Perfect Dark Zero (on "Dark Agent" difficulty), and some solo-legendary playthroughs of Halo 2 and Reach bring to mind some stories laden with profanity and anguish, hahaha...

 

I get freaking pissed when I play arcade games and die. I always play shooters for score/survival on one credit, so if you die stupidly that has an impact. I'm surprised nobody called the police yet LOL.

Also German swearing is the best I'm sort of frustrated how smooth English sounds, sometimes I just want to drop some bombs in a hard edgy language!

Mars Matrix, Metal Black, and... anything made by Raizing come to mind immediately. Final boss of Hyper Duel likely got some curses as well.

well i told a game to "eat shit and die" today maybe i do it more then i realize lol

 

"Son of a tit" is said quite often on mario 3 level with the moving block and the sun level.

 

Game: "Oh, ein wildes ZUBAT!"
Me: "Noch so ein verdammtes DRECKSZUBAT! Verpiss dich! Verrecke!"

...or something like that, same goes for a few others like Rattata, maybe. Even if I don't happen to have one yet in a new game, it's a reflex!

Also recently been swearing at Mario Kart 7's cheating bastard of an AI, with them getting Blue Shells in 4th place and shit like that... or getting hit by a lightning and then a Blue Shell right afterwards. Besides those, I do utter "shit", "fuck" and such quite often, but rarely launch into big tirades.

I love that colorful swearing :excitement:
