I'm just wondering whether this is the first time Bill Clinton and the word sucked have been mentioned in the same sentence since he left Office? Hmmm? :110:

It's pretty much resolved. They guy bothering Didds has grown a brain and realised he shouldn't threaten people by means which can be traced. The local Police also had a little word with him. Apparently he went onto Google Earth and attempted to imply that he was able to see Didd's property and the vehicles outside it. Clearly, not got much scope for being a private detective as he doesn't realise A) It wasn't trained on the correct property B) The image was taken years ago and C) The described vehicle no longer exists. Thus we can conclude he is an enormous dork.

    Case closed!

Diddymon, you should do something to this guy for fucking with you like that.

What I would do, is get some produce (bannanas, apples, pears, etc,) some fish - with the heads still attached and perhaps a big'ol pile of dogshit, and put it into a cardboard box. Next, leave the box outside until you can see wet spots forming on the outside.

Wrap this in a layer of plastic, then put it in another box and mail it to the guy (make sure not to put your return address of course)

Most people when they recieve a package, rip right into it without examining the box it came in with too much detail. Chances are he'll probably open it up in his house too. The resulting stink will make his eyes explode with nastiness.

Or just give me his address, I'll send him the stink package. That way you're in the clear.

    Good luck

Once it has calmed down counter attack and assume you are in the clear? In most warfare that is called an escalation!

However, it is a cunning plan that I suspect should not be put into practice! Didds was clearly shaken, as would most people if they felt someone could turn up and harm their family. You just have to look at the way the UK is panning out to see this sort of thing could turn nasty. Yesterday in London 2 Police officers were attacked and injured when 30 (yes 30) people pounced on them. Why? Well, for simply asking a 13 year old to pick up her litter!

I am ashamed of this country!

There's got to be more to the story. Angry mobs don't just explode for no reason, tension in a community has to build up for a while, then an incident sparks it. Chances are there is a lot more going on in that neighborhood than the news is reporting.

Just put it down to a nutcase and feel glad the cops had a word with him. Revenge usually ends up making things worse, especially when the police have been involved. And like said earlier, he has a family to think of.

Sadly no, one of the sports for teenagers in this country is setting fire to rubbish on wasteland or estates, calling the fire brigade to come and put it out and then pelting them with stones, bottles and attacking them physically & verbally whilst the crew have to retreat and allow whatever was on fire burn itself out.

It's the same with Police and ambulance staff / paramedics.

Ah the UK needs to do is to ditch the human rights act and use an amended version of it, give power back to teachers, police and magistrates, fund the social services properly, fund the education system, lower the age of criminal responsibility to 7 and have a 9pm curfew for everyone under the age of 16 then the problems would half.

Most children do crimes because most of them know they are going to get away with it and even if they get arrested, charged and sent to court they will get nothing more then a slap on the wrist and probably go out and do it again.

With teachers not being able to punish pupils with kids saying "I know my rights" and not being able to keep the kids in detention as well as a board of governers who are generally unfit to be governers (to quote, if you want a position of power, then you aren't qualified for it) allowing violent pupils who have been expelled back in then they are going to need something to put the fear back into kids.

Parents should be held responsible for what their kids do, if I hear another news report of "I can't control my child", "I pay my taxes and this is lunancy of the government" and "I love my kids" then I will scream. If they really can't control them then they need to start rebuilding borstals again.

Or, you could just get some good 'ol police brutality, clear that shit right up.

Wow, do things like that really go on in the UK on a regular basis? That's pretty unreal. Do the police accompany the fire department? How it is here, usually there's one or two police cars acting as escort whenever there's a fire (for crowd control, that kind of thing.) I mean a kid has to be pretty brave or stupid to assault a fireman like that, he's likely to get arrested.

Over here first time that happend they would probabaly just shoot his ass.

Just to give some perspective here in the U.k, I live in Bristol UK and yes there is problems, but no, fire engines generally don't get attacked :) Its been reported in the papers but is far from representative of reality.

Diddimon, really sorry to hear what happened! Now sadly this does happen quite a bit! This happened to me recently :( Glad to hear its all cleared up though.

I love the idea of sending him some poo, lol :)

Outside of a few sensationalist news stories I've never heard of kids starting fires so they could attack firemen or anything daft like that. If something like this happens it's the exception and hence newsworthy... and in any event I'm not sure it's representative of anything much except bored and alienated kids with nothing to do. I'm with Jamtex on the funding of social services and education but the idea of throwing out the human rights bill and lowering the age of criminal responsibility to 7 seems like a warped parody to me. These kids need help - boxing clubs, recording studio time, whatever else actually interests them - locking them up at 7 years old is a recipe for serious trouble later on. I can't really take the suggestion seriously, in fact.

    Hope you're ok, anyway, diddydon.
