Some information on Akira games for SNES and Sega CD

    well what akira did was it made the ameircan public aware of anime, and baisicly paved the way for anime in the U.S. as well as set a standard in animation. Though for some reason when i watch it today it seems more tame then it was back then.

    I tried playing the FC game. Seemed like some sort of text adventure or something - well I got bored of it before getting past something that wasn't text anyway. My Japanese sucks, which probably didn't help.

    I like the film, and I probably like it more than I could have because I saw it subbed first - that english dub makes me want to die. The new dub isn't much better, either...

    Yeah, The Famicom game is by Tomy if I remember rightly. It's a text adventure :( or at least that's all I've seen because I can't be bothered to play it.
