    Hi,
    As some of you guys are interested in see how a type X3 motherboard looks inside....

    I want to share some internal photos of a Type X3 LEF4DEAD motherboard that i got from japan some months ago and i disassembled for clean and dump the game:

    The type X3 BIOS, will allow only to boot from a certain HD, that must be looked with ATA Password.

    Here is the ATA password of the HD of my Type X3 Left4Dead:

    That ATA password is unique for each TypeX3 system and is calculated by the BIOS, using the Security Dongle, that is conected to the type X3 thru the Spartan 6 FPGA, that is located on the FAST IO PCIEX interface board.

    Some custom tools are requiered for extract it from that HD.

    The good news is that below that User password, you can find the the Master Password, that is the same for all the Type X3 HDs, and you can use that Master password to unlock those HDs...

    I love the TAITO logo and space invader on any kind of pcb :'D
