Some Sidecar compatible PSU's on eBay

Since I know this seems to be a very common issue for members here, and I'm not personally selling these... I figured I'd post it in here rather then the eBay sales thread in the Marketplace. It would probably go completely unoticed in there.

Someone is selling some 213w Sidecar Compatible PSU's on eBay, I sent him a message to verify the supported ampage on his just to be sure, and it all lines up.

Not sure if his 203W units have the proper ampage lines though, so you'll have to pick up one of these fast ;o.

Suprisingly I found the auction by simply searching Xbox 360 Power, and limiting only results for >$10 shipped(weed out the pointless unrelated crap). I just scrolled through the auction lists looking at the auction primary picture. I was actually very suprised to stumble upon these, seemed completely out of the blue.

$24.04 Shipped for myself, I'd call that a deal. Guess it's time to throw the ATX-Energyzer monsters in the closet. Not sure if these are on eBay all that much, but either way, nobody here ever seems to have one to power their Sidecar anymore.

Haha Assembler! I noticed while reading through this entire MS section page by page, that you had issues getting a proper PSU for your kit. Hopefully this will solve that ;p

Should have got them while they were up, like I said, I don't think it's all that common to find a nice little stock like that. Espcially at that price.

I was thinking these PSU's were for the 360 kiosk,also Wallmart used them as well.

Im kinda kicking myself at the opportunity I missed. I mean I had a feeling I when I had the page up earlier today that I should get them, but I looked at it said it had 14 hours left, so I thought, hey that can't be all that bad so I thought it would be fine to wait 10 minutes... guess not. Fail on my part.

In the message he had sent me tyler, he said he had 9 of the 213w PSU's left, and a few 203w bricks too. I think he had plenty, he just simply caught on ;o.

Mike and others who missed the chance to get one, you might as well try sending a message to him via eBay. See if he has anymore. Can't do much harm in asking.

Ya I might do that. Didn't he like message everybody asking if they wanted 203W? Because if so I might totally offer him like $25 or so for one. More likely to make him want to give me one then if I just payed the regular old 13.99 haha.

 

Recieved this last night, looks like he'll be shipping the bricks out today for those that got in on this deal.

Bit late in the week, but for the price we paid, it's cool by me.

oh and i forgot to mention, these are not new, at least mine wernt, one was missing the rubber peice and although in good condition there not new.

 

Got my brick in the mail yesterday soon after I made my post. I don't think mine wasn't new either, but hey, as long as it functions, I'm fine. It looks almost brand new besides some very subtle blemishes.

The brick I got is casted in black plastic though, I was kinda suprised... Never knew MS made black PSU's? Either way, looks pretty cool.

Also, I had to order a special 3 prong power cable with a notch cut out to fit the PSU ac plug. Hopefully that'll arrive by the end of the week.
