Some Sidecar compatible PSU's on eBay

    This guy has an intresting idea, go upto a store manager explain the situation and ask him if you can exchange the psu on the kiosk for the retail one and it would still work fine.

    Also those were the really EARLY kiosks who knows if they still send those PSU's with them.

    I'm doubting they send those PSU's out anymore leo, I think these were only made for prelaunch consoles ie dev, demo, stress, etc. Retailers had the consoles on display and running before the 360 release, so I'm curious if the inital display consoles were actualy Demo Kits shipped out by Microsoft. Anyone know?

    It'd explain the XeDK model PSU's atleast.

    And I highly doubt you could just ask a manager and swap PSU's like that ;p. It'd be way to sketchy for him, but I'm sure if you've got a friend who works at the store, he could do it one day for you.

    One thing I noticed about these 213w PSU's is they get kinda hot, I've got a jasper running off of it w/o a sidecar, so it's just a beastly PSU I guess.

    The display consoles were just retail 360's.
