Mario's platforming, especially in 2D, is way more difficult than any 2D sonic game. Same is true when you compare any 3D sonic title to Sunshine and SM64, in terms of platforming difficulty.
Yeah, but I always thought Sonic's bosses were harder, sometimes. The final bosses in the Sonic games used to be crazy.
