    I do not have softmodded xbox and I never had... but did you tried to install XDK dashboard as a separate app and lunch Sonic Extreme from XDK dash?

    Some installers(made by SPPV) can install XDK dash as another app. But you have to start it from the file manager.

    And some of these games work only with the XDK dash for example FarCry Instincts Beta.

    The XShell dashboard is meaningless. It's just a dashboard. What matters for some things is whether or not it is a debug based bios, some of which can be toggled like x3...

    But RAM is the issue when most games freeze. Can't get around that other than by modifying assets.
