Oh come on, hopefully ti's not that bad. :smt022

Besides Compile was a small and declining outfit for awhile; wasn't their only 'major' franchise Puyo Puyo?

    Aleste, which is Fantasitc.
They also did Zanak X Zanak just before their demise --- a very good shooter.

You can't beat Aleste. The Mega Drive and Mega CD games were pretty cool but the Super Famicom version called Super Aleste (Space Mega Force in the US) was the ultimate shooter of the 16 bit age. That was the first SFC shooter to have hardly any if any slowdown !! Everything moved !! The stages were long and challenging !! And that music is still some of the best I've heard on a shooter in a long time. Truly atmospheric. Now the PAL version which was also called Super Aleste ran really slow but did feature better voice samples than the Japanese version. But that's where the pluses ended. Both the US and PAL versions have edited introductions and endings plus they are missing 1 music track. Over all the Japanese version is way better even if it does have the worse speech samples.

Oh and did you know that the Master System games called Power Strike are also Aleste.

Cool -- just bought one this past weekend.

I think I did at one point, but had forgotten. I also wound up nabbing the first GameGear Aleste game pretty cheap... looked on YJ and they had one finish for 12,500. :smt017

Im actually suprised they bothered with the game gear games to be honest its not like they will look all that good tbh (the ones on sa dx were distorted and fuzzy to say the least) surely they could have taken a little longer and gave us CD like EVERY sonic/sega fan wants?

Do you think naka has a warehouse of sonic cd's someware and he's drip feeding them to the public via ebay hoping to make more profit that way?

    *Sniff* i smell conspiracy........ :axe:
