No offense, but I laugh everytime theres a topic here proclaiming or speculating on the downfall of Sony. Its gotten that bad these past few weeks that I cant even take anything seriously anymore.
Well, as a commercial soon to be lawyer, i don't get excited over news and rumours, but selling stock ,in combination with hefty RnD costs of PS3, and the lack of income from the hardware so far makes a Sony accountant a sad panda. I m sure for that much.
Hang on, isn't this just Sony raising some funds by selling shares in its retail store business? Makes perfect sense to me, those places are way overpriced, no wonder they're not making money. Surprise they even bother with them in the first place.
the need to raise funds arises when you "streamline" operations (an expression used by PR managers for the press). On its true face, that means that you need to make some fast capital because your numbers dont make up the amount to need or you ll head down-hill.

Friend who lives in Sweden says the pricing is higher than that, When hes online Ill get a direct quote on how much it costs. But yeah, it's $120 according to him.

Sony is no where near the tipping point, they're still able to turn around, re-think their product line and solve their problems. I thought the PS3 will be the first nail in the coffin but everywhere I go casual-gamers from every age and social group are locos for the PS3, while the hype around the Wii seems to be dissapearing faster than I had predicted. Therefore sony is still in possition to blow every single one of their rivals out of the water, with the exception of the iPod... And babu, I would pay $500 for every PS3 game if I could live in a country with the kind of hot women you guys have

Oh yeah. That really annoyed me that did! All that bloody Sony plugging wasn't at all necessary. Half the time the shot with the item wasn't needed apart from plugging Sony's goods. Still, great movie I thought. Yakumo
