I'm trying to connect blue PlayStation (Debugging Station DTL-H1100) to Sony PVM-20L4 using the original grey EuroSCART cable SCPH-1052 and EuroSCART -> BNC cable made by Retro Gaming Cables. https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk...art-to-4-x-bnc--2-x-rca-for-sony-pvm-monitors What should I do to see normal picture? If I disconnect green, I see just black screen. I seen black/white picture before green picture but everything else was the same. I checked the menu but didn't find any settings to fix it... Need some help! Thanks.
It looks like that adapter has a sync stripper in it - maybe your SCART cable isn't providing enough power for it?
It works fine with attached extra composite cable from the PlayStation to the external sync input of the Sony PVM-20L4 monitor. It looks like the original SCART RGB cable just doesn't support composite sync.
As this isn't off topic, I've moved it to modding - it seems you're wanting to mod the SCART lead that was not designed for your setup. Is there not a separator in the SCART cable? You don't need to separate the sync twice!
The official PSX SCART cable doesn't provide enough power for LM1881, I had this problem with my SCART switch in the past.
