I'm trying to connect blue PlayStation (Debugging Station DTL-H1100) to Sony PVM-20L4 using the original grey EuroSCART cable SCPH-1052 and EuroSCART -> BNC cable made by Retro Gaming Cables.

    https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk...art-to-4-x-bnc--2-x-rca-for-sony-pvm-monitors

What should I do to see normal picture? If I disconnect green, I see just black screen. I seen black/white picture before green picture but everything else was the same. I checked the menu but didn't find any settings to fix it...

    Need some help!

    Thanks. :)

It looks like that adapter has a sync stripper in it - maybe your SCART cable isn't providing enough power for it?

You will have the same on ps2 rgb. But there is an option to change video mode. Ps1 dont have it.

It works fine with attached extra composite cable from the PlayStation to the external sync input of the Sony PVM-20L4 monitor. It looks like the original SCART RGB cable just doesn't support composite sync.

Nevermind. I missed your last post which made my post irrelevant.

As this isn't off topic, I've moved it to modding - it seems you're wanting to mod the SCART lead that was not designed for your setup.

Is there not a separator in the SCART cable? You don't need to separate the sync twice!

The official PSX SCART cable doesn't provide enough power for LM1881, I had this problem with my SCART switch in the past.
