    I am considering buying the monitor pictured below. It has lines at the top of the screen. Is this something that can be corrected through the service menu? I read somewhere that it was possible.

    im not sure you can "get rid" of them in the service menu, but if they dont cover any of the picture, you can certainly adjust the image so that they appear off screen.
