Damn incredible, can anyone imagine 90,000,000 ps2?????
You can cover a table with ten!

At 1/2 a foot each square, that is appx 8522 square miles of solid back to back ps2.

Approximately 13,640 square kilometers of units back to back.

Well if you've bought a PS2, what number are you on?

    I'm on my second.

One. Had to return two others until one worked, which is the one I currently have.

I'm likely to be on my second if I ever get the cash to buy it.
Unless my friend ever finishes repairing mine.
    Then, just one.

Ironically, though, I'm on my second dreamcast (thanks to my sister), and my third Atari 2600

Out of the 3 I have one has trouble with CD games. But I blame that on the crappy Neo4 modchip.
Whats the attach rate up to? I think the last figure I found was something like 12/1 in the US.

Normal console care rules don't apply with PS2 :).

I'm on my second if you count my TEST unit, although the first one never completely screwed up (I'm told it's still running good).

Yep with the exception of my Sony consoles, everything else I've had has lasted the test of time.

GO Sony, that is an incredible figure.

My 1 and only, bought 2nd hand, works fine to this day.

It did break when i tried to mod it, but was easily fixed by an elecrician.
PS2's break because people can't look after their stuff like normal people:p

I've only had the one since christmas 2002. I didn't get one until then partially for the reason that the first models were built like Yugos.

One thing is for sure... with 90 million units sold you can't blame any developper for bringing games to the ps2...

i only bought 1 too. And it's on the 2nd modchip (first one was a Messiah2 Pro, and now it's a Matrix Infinity), and i never had problems with it.

Anyway, the PS2 is indeed "problematic"
