    Hey everyone :)
Well I just recently made a purchase that came with some Sony Tool systems and 1 Xbox dev kit.
The models for the Sony systems are the following:
    DTL-T10000H
    DTL-T10000H A
    DTL-T10000

And the Xbox from what info i've looked at is the dvt-4?

I got these as-is and taking a risk i guess that they didn't work or even turn on but, lucky me they do turn on fine and some of the Sony systems I got load up the Tool screen when connected to the AV output but, with the HA,H models I don't get any picture. I saw a thread in this message board about flipping switches to the right position to get it into default setting but don't know if i should even try it or do it because I don't know the real difference between the 3 models.
the xbox system turns on, i get the xbox screen but then it just goes black - so I don't fully understand what's going on there (needs a boot disc? PC connected to it?)

So basically asking how much could these go for
    and here are the pictures:

Cool, I actually enjoyed some of those games makes sense too since some of the ps2 tools have namco and midway stickers. Thanks for the link :)

I always wondered if MS put those stickers on or the devs did like for assets of the company or something.

Microsoft generally has blue stickers they put on, which each company having their own way of cataloging. I sent what I thought the Xbox was worth (with it currently not displaying video). Id offer more if it is working, but Xbox kits are exactly moving quickly :) Strange though that it has white text on the Xbox in front, but I cant read any dates on the stickers anyway.

Time and money, but mostly money at this point.

    I have 2x beta live kits, 1x dvt3, 1x alpha 2, 3x debug kits, and a I have a DVT4 on the way.

Very true. When you have a lot of money left over and all the bills are paid you can buy a lot over a period of time.

I wonder if running a recovery would fix the issue. If you can get it to display video, it would surely increase the value.

Absolutely do NOT use a recovery! Not until all options are exhausted, which they aren't. I would rather buy a potentially fixable kit (or even an unfixable one) with potential data than one that I know the data has been wiped off of it. Kits are a dime a dozen if you ask around, finding one with data is a bit harder, or even one with the prospect of data.

You're right that a recovery would erase a potential beta or unreleased game on the HDD.
But to fix it, you'd have to break the seals! To me breaking the seals is heresy, but that's just me.
I definitely understand where you're coming from. :)

Who says seals need to be broken? :p There is a lot to try before that is an option too. Plenty of tricks to get around no video, assuming the rest of the console is working. And plenty of things to try to confirm its not something silly like being set to the wrong video mode. But even still, there will always be another kit out there that is sealed, this could be the only kit with that particular data on it (assuming it has data). And besides, most Xbox's will need to be opened at some point for repairs, be it a power supply or leaky capacitors.

Want an easy way to see if it is doing anything? Hook it up to a network, see if the router gives it an IP address, use that IP in Neighborhood, and take a screenshot / navigate!

Sell me all that when you have kids and need cash. It will happen, and I will still have money waiting.

Anything is possible, but kids are years away, after bills are paid and after I've settled into a decent job. I don't plan on holding onto everything anyway, the market is far too dead to sell though. Give it 5 or 10 years, I've had some of this stuff that long already.
