    Yes he is a developer alright. I'm one too. All you need is $200 for a business license then bam you're a develoepr. Well for me at least.

    "Being a developer" do not mean anything.

    Normally, the auction seller should be verifying, on a case by case basis, if the buyer is entitled to obtain and use the devkit (eg: in the case of NGC stuff, if the buyer is a registered NGC developer).

    Obviously they didn't or something wasn't done properly (which I gotta admit is kinda nice for the buyer :). Unless the anonymous buyer is registered with all those constructors/platforms and has no problem breaking NDA by publishing pictures, which is likely not the case.
