Hey guys. I just wanted to update you on this. I purchased the system a couple months ago (at PRGE) and have been checking it out. We have cloned the HDD, and intend to search the deleted sectors for other content as well as post a video soon with gameplay footage, etc. once we have everything lined up & ready (which may take a while since we're all kind of busy right now). Bear in mind, it's REALLY EARLY Alpha and crashes a lot. Once the video is done, I will likely sell the Dev kit (PM me). It is a very cool thing to have (especially as a South Park fan) but I can't see myself keeping it forever. Once the video is done I'll be sure to post it here.
Crashes can sometimes be skipped past. If the price is right, I would buy it, but I get uncomfortable knowing that multiple people are backing up the game for themselves. Let me know if you need assistance.
id certainly chip into a fundraiser to get the build publicly released (if the eventual buyer decided to do so of course )
Open-world South Park? That would sound like fun sorta. TBH I'm not a big open world guy. I like it when its a bit linear.
It's too bad this was canned. The 3D art style was actually done very well and captured the cartoon. That's usually a hard thing to pull off.
i hope you will upload the files even if it cant work on a modded xbox it would still be great to have a copy
So it's still up in the air whether or not anything besides a video will be shared. I'll take a video, better than nothing. I'm still pretty interested in it.
Replied to me today: Hi John. The plan currently is to do a video with a Youtube friend of mine, showing what little gameplay there is and talking about it. Then sell it, letting the buyer decide if they want to release the files or not. I've been super busy with things this year and keep putting it off, but will likely get to it this month. Thanks, Brian
Thanks for the update, Syclopse. Good to hear that we'll be getting a video by the end of the month. Bummer that he won't be handling the files himself.
I hate when people don't share their stuff. It's like a piece of history, it should stay in some kind of museum. Instead, these pieces of history are just sold to make easy money. I'm disgusted
