I haven't uninstalled the game while I was changing my video card, so I think I'm still on the first install.

My theoretical next PC I plan on building will get the second install, UNLESS I move my hard drive in...but I might just uninstall and reinstall on my new PC anyway.

    I just got it tonight.

If you even remotely liked the original Spore, you WILL LOVE this expansion. And I'm not just saying that, they added a TON of content...some of the songs you can place down in missions are very good, I was half expecting a lot of ambient shit again, but they have a nice variety of rock, jazz, techno, medieval sounding, etc songs that actually aren't half bad! I'm not sure if they got the sounds from other sources or made the songs themselves, but the jazzy chicago night song in Spore: GA, is even better than the Timesplitters 2 one, and if you know of TS2's music, thats a helluva boast. Its really classy stuff...

I've had some great fun with this expansion, and they also released a patch for those of you who play on the highest settings to make vehicles and buildings look high quality in game, which is something that annoyed the crap out of me when playing earlier...they also patched out a lot of the random crash problems, which annoyed me in space mode to no end.

Turning Spore into an action based game might seem like a weird idea to some, even those of you who wanted it to be just like the 2005 video, but Maxis did a damn good job on this expansion, IMO. And also on the general bettering of Spore.

The rating also has been changed, due to them putting blood back into the game.

I was super hyped for this game, and so far, I have not been disappointed. Actually, I think my expectations have been surpassed...I have not been this excited and interested in a game, probably ever since...Mario 64!!!

Hell, Im going to go out and say it. I think this game is revolutionary. I hope more games start to allow you to make your own levels pretty much furnished with everything you and other people have made. The editor to make adventures is a little clunky, but not hard to use...mainly because my mouse's scroll sensitivity is extrmely high.

I forsee myself wasting many a day playing this.
