I never got into the Chrono series, it just wasn't for me, and I liked the old school FF OK, but they were not my favorite games ever. Secret of Evermore is one of my favorite Square Action/RPG's on the SNES, I also liked Enix's Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma. I would like to see Terranigma on the DS because it never made it to the US, but I doubt it will ever happen :smt022

Cross was a disappointment. The characters sucked, and their dialogue was horrible. Once a character says his few lines, he's phased out to make room for another. In general the gui was inferior to the one used in FFVII (released years before), as was the uninspiring magic system. As it progresses towards it's (merciful) end, the player is subjected to extended dialogues between characters that feel more like excuses for the peculiarities in the plot than a development of the storyline. Ugh.
