"Project Slyph," at least the working name is decent. Unfortunately, I am still having flashbacks to The Bouncer. Never got around to playing Einhander though, which I guess might be a better comparison.

I beg to differ, Einhinder and Tobal # 1 were great games.

    I heart einhander...

"Because of it's distinctive shape, they called it..... Einhander!"

I still haven't been able to 1cc it tho...

Then again, i'm not a big fan of Silpheed, so we'll see where this goes...

360 is actually starting to look good!
Theres finally some games I want for it:
    - This new schmup
-I heard about a new silpheed game
    -Oblivion
-Burnout Revenge (Mighty fine series, even if owned by EA)
    -Far Cry Instincts Predator

Unfortunately, 360 premium + 3 games is £400, so I'll give that a miss for a while. When I can find current gen games for £10 regularly, I'm not paying £40 (at cheapest, often £50) for one 360 game...

They are great games. Tobal 2 is even better than the first one.

But stuff like Driving Emotion Type S and World Fantasista are total crap.
Thank god is owned by EA. When Acclaim had the rights to publish, it didn't caught any attention (even the first two being amazing games as well). After EA got the rights, they released Burnout 3 Takedown. The rest is history.

I don't think Criterion would be able to develop BLACK, without the money they earne from the last two Burnout games.

I never said that Einhander was a bad game, simply that I hadn't gotten around to playing it (I actually did buy it once, but the disc was bad are there no replacement copies).

It looks like MS has had the site that jp link to remove the videos.

When it runs out of downloads just let me know, or someone else can upload it somewhere, or something.

I know that nobody will agree with me, but Driving emotion type S is wonderful when played with a wheel

Not to go the typical bashing way, then listen :) we aren´t that harsh on the system, we just don´t like MS, or some of us don´t :)

Did none of you notice that Game Arts is developing the title? That's more important than Square publishing it. ;)

Actually I think the only non-RPG game that Square put out that wasn't wonderful was Bouncer, and even then its really only bad if you've never played Power Stone or Thrill Kill ;).

Hmm well I would have liked a 2D style shooter with 3D graphics - but you can't have everything.

    (Thanks for the vid jp.)

Well this is something to look forward to on the japanese 360 scene. Though the PS2 offerings from GA have been a little weak - I am vaguely positive. My 360 has not been touched in weeks - after unlocking all RR6 + DOA and with no one to play everyparty at the moment - it has been somewhat of a dry spell for me. I'm sure I will blow up my first 360 when senko no ronde turns up.

As for SE non-rpg titles. Einhander was pretty nice. Bouncer was good the first play. And well hmm Type S cost me a fiver!

I LOVE Game Arts. I wish more companies would bring their games over.
