   turned out the eprom wasn't blank after all.
   
   Luckily I had another one... Which I ended up burning the wrong file to. Today I'm going to stop by a few computer repair places and see if any of them have an eprom eraser they'd let me use for a small fee.
   
   At least I don't have to desolder all the wires from the cartridge pcb. :thumbsup:
