Jesus violated the copyrights of bread and fish, which legally belonged to his dad, since he created them.
Exactly. Piracy != Theft. Never has been, never will, no matter how hard anti piracy groups would like to equate it to shoplifting. Piracy is copyright violation. Not saying I endorse piracy, I don't actually but atleast call it what it really is.
Exactly. If piracy were theft, they'd call it "theft" instead of "piracy". Words have unique definitions and I hate it when people decide to start jumping around their dictionaries like law is a game of Frogger.
This topic, is really funny  I agree, that it is ok to download ROM's as long as the company has made there money and or is non existent. Such as, if I were to go download Mortal Kombat 2 for MAME (Arcade ROM), it would be OK because Midway is bankrupt, non longer existent and the game is nearly 20 years old to ;-) It not like I am going to go and buy the PCB, with the ROM's and then dump them. (I actually own the PCB however because I am making a MK2 cabinet )
