    That has nothing to do with the quality of the product (which is not really better than any other non-Mac computer), it's because people are stupid. Besides, I bet the whole Mac resale thing will fall off at some point.

    This is a massive blow to me, I love apple products of all shapes and sizes and think steve jobs is a iconic hero, nay....god of a man and I am bitterly disappointed that the HumancentIpad will now not become a reality :crying:

    The high resell value has been going on for years, I don't see that stopping now. In fact some machines might sell higher than the current ones, because not a lot of people don't want Lion. Can't install Snow Leopard on the new machines.
