Seriously, is there any reason to use a "special" color for your posts? I can understand highlighting a specific point, but why the whole post? Understand something: not everyone is using the same color scheme as you. If you change your text to white or a light color, some cannot see it without highlighting it. Please, take one minute and look at the various options by clicking on the drop box on the lower left of your screen. The default color tells the forum software to display text in the color appropriate to the user, so please use it. Case in point, here is what I see: HazyLazy Color Scheme Rewritten to reduce 75% profanity content...
Agreed, I think Assembler should kill all the new colour schemes and keep the original look. One annoying thing is the fact that the colour choosen doesn't have a default colour so if you do choose black or white by accident you can't really change it. Apart from highlighting it and choosing the crossed out double Amiga symbol which removes everything. This text is white This text is black This text is default
I took matters into my own hands and gave myself a custom theme for every site I go to! It works wonders, I can see links hidden as words in giant walls of text, because I set all links to red.
I assume/vaguely remember that the forum was set up by someone else who's since departed, so it's stuck like that. Good job the internet isn't full of script kiddies who know how to exploit vbulletin 3.5.4 with easily found vulnerabilities detailed via a simple google search. It'd be a terrible shame to see this entire forum and all the posts within it deleted and replaced "1337haxxorz r00lz j000".
If it is, Assembler still hasnt gotten to updating the forum. Its been 2 years 7 months since the last update, according to the release logs for Vbulletin
