Seen this story and though i'd share it since its a bit odd. Who'd name their kid Adolf Hilter, it may be unique but i certainly wouldn't do at all let alone for that reason.
They sound like the typical dumb arse white trash Americans. Adolf Hitler because it's unique. What a bunch of tits that kids parents are. Yakumo
it's obvious the parents are into the neo-nazism. With the names having such words, as well as Aryan, it's no wonder they'll get discriminated.
I like how they have used the term 'unique'. I always thought unique meant that it was one of a kind, the only 1. Seeing how someone has been called that in the past it is hardly 'unique'! They should have called him 'My Parents are f***ing idiots Campbell'
Of course they choose their names in order to honor Hitler, Heinrich Himmler (->Hinler) and the neo-nazi organisation "Aryan Nation". There was an article in todays' paper, it also said the same guy who ordered the Hitler-cake is already been known for his interests. There were other "special" orderings in the past, like a cake with a swastika. By the way, in the end he got his Adolf-cake at another supermarket. Well, this is actually nothing that surprises me. The neo-nazi scene is not as little as one could assume after the Holocaust.
Err, yeah. What do they expect? I don't think they should be pulling that bullshit. It's obvious they're following the Nazi party, in itself a dangerous choice, so they shouldn't make up crap about why they chose the names. They aren't victims here. They chose to do something fucking stupid. They MUST have known the kid would get ridiculed for it. Now they're receiving some blowback and they throw a hissyfit. Pathetic. Poor kids.
I just feel sorry for the kid. He's going to be ostracised his entire life; who the fuck wants to be friends with Adolf Hitler? Can you imagine the look on people's faces when he eventually grows up and has to deal with that name on a daily basis? The look on the face of the bank clerk who rings up his name when he goes to pay in a cheque? Poor bastard.
But on the other hand he is free to change his name in case he does not agree on his parents political ideas. In case he becomes the neonazi son his parents want him to become, he will be proud of his name no matter how much trouble he is gonna have to bear due to it.
Is it genuinely around, though, or is it just a few dozen nutters per region like the BNP in Britain?
You'd think that the registry office would say to them, "OK, now pick a serious name." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neo-Nazism Lists organizations per country. Note the Croatian concert last year, attended by 60,000 people, the majority wearing Ustaše uniforms.
Of course, if they'd spent less time at Neo-Nazi rallies and learnt some skills in the kitchen, they could have baked their own cake and none of this would have happened ;-)
Man I really hate racism, and its sad that this kids have no say about it for now. Some people should never reproduced ever.
