This may sound stupid, but I want the best connection for my Dreamcast to my Sony Bravia HDTV, and as reports go, the best way is that of a VGA Box. I have a question though. Every review states you can hook up the DC to PC Speakers, but how does this work with a TV (or even a surround sound system?)

    Thanks

Commonly, good TVs with VGA inputs have a connector for the sound (either phono or 3.5mm jack). The Dreamcast AV box has the sound outputs on it, so you can hook it up, but as Borman says, you may require an adapter to convert it to the input on your TV or amp.

Regarding surround sound: AFAIK some games had surround sound, but it was Dolby Pro-Logic (similar to the GameCube/Wii, although they both had Pro-Logic II support which gives you 5.1 channels). If that truly is the case, then you would have to hook it up to a Pro-Logic compatible amp. There isn't support for digital audio, if I'm remembering this correctly.
