Suddenly I feel not that bad that their customer department f***ed up the cancellation of my LE. Doesn't hurt that I paid in advance, too. They are even delivering it to my new address since I moved twice since ordering the game. Astounding!
I. Wonder when mine will arrive. I was one of the very early preorder guys and even got an early preview version of the game. Just hoping it doesn't take forever to reach Japan.
- The redpostgames customer service is a joke - Web news is outdated - What happened to them? they were top
Apparently it's a one man show, afaik the shop address is a private address in munich and the contact phone number ist that guys cellphone which is almost always switched off.
What happens? It arrives, that happenes. Mine actually arrived last Saturday, but I was traveling so I just got to pick it up today. And... it is GORGEOUS! Seriously, one of the better collectors editions that I have seen lately, the box with its magnetic seal, the art on the back and on the cd cases, it is all top notch. The little fighter model has some rough texture to it, it has apparently been 3d-printed with one of these powder printers that they also do the World of Warcraft figurines with (the FigurePrints stuff). Looks neat though
Received the regular edition (ordered in 2010) now waiting for the limited edition that was ordered in 2011.
Never paid much attention to this in the past, but it does look good. The limited edition looks better than some of the ones you see in the shops.
KARASU is ass just like all of milestones shooters. Karasu is worst though. It's just a reskin of their previous game and an ugly one at that.
Sigh... mine still hasn't shipped (did not order through RedSpot directly though). EDIT: And yeah, Karasu isn't great.
I have a soft spot for Karous becasue A) it was my first 1cc B) I love the music Especially the stage one theme. C) It makes Chaos Feild it's bitch.
Chaos Field is indeed garbage, as is Psyvarier 2. Though I also agree that the Milestone games aren't that great either. It's unfortunate that most of the post-death shooters on the DC were ass (with G.Rev damn near being the lone exception). Though G.Rev did the make the best shooter on the DC, as well as the best shooter in past decade (Border Down). Edit: Actually, Trizeal was pretty good, and I'd actually rank it fairly high as far as DC shooters go (mind you, I hate Psikyo and Ikaruga). Last Hope wasn't too bad either. Haven't played Sturmwind yet (though hopefully that gets resolved soon) nor DUX.
Man, for once someone agrees with me on that. Dux was broken as fuck in its initial release, and wasn't very good anyway.
and now they made it even easier (1.5) :wink-new: got my LE Sturmwind yesterday & was blown away; def worth the wait
