    What about an area about 3d objects used in consoles?
    There are lots of hard-to-find parts that can be reproduced with a 3D printer. It would be nice to gather most of them into a single area. Since this site is so oriented to preservation/repair/development, we could have 3d objects ready to download, and a place to discuss them.

    Don't know how difficult it would be to create the models for the replacement parts but I really like the idea. Really goes with the site's motto and it's something that will definitely be needed in the future as original parts or even third party replacements become harder to find. So, thumbs up!

    There are some models on Thingiverse. It would be great if Assemblergames.com hosted some of these parts, so it won't get lost somewhere/someday.
