    @Bad_Ad84 Thanks for making that clear. So at least that is an option. Guess I will just change the plastic shell of the Super Famicom and maybe pick up an interesting adapter when I see one for very cheap just out of curiosity.

    Yes it works with all US and Japanese games because it has all the pins.

    I have an extra one that I keep just in case, adapters with all pins are rarer than the regular ones. I have had many adapters over the years, I've only come across 2 that have all the pins.
