    Impressive Sven, really impressive!!!

Seems to be worth a fortune. Any idea how much you have
    spend on your collection?

thanx, yes it is worth a small fortune (saving up for my pension lol)

i have no idea what i spent on my collection, but its alot, i also enjoy the trading aspect of collecting which has a sort of "wings of a butterfly" effect on the collection, anyways over the years ive become quite good at game hunting so i almost never pay current market value for a game unless its something i REALLY want (like buying a brand new Cave PCB or superplay DVD).
in general i have alot of patience which is a virtue when collecting games.

i also used to be an arcade op (and still sort of am) which opens alot of possibilities for my personal collecting :)

    Wassup Sven!

It's CIT from Shmups Forum. Great collection! Those arcade kits are obviously really impressive, but I also really dig your SFC collection, as I'm a bit of a SFC-nut myself. How is Genocide G2? I briefly owned the PC Engine prequel, but it sucked really hard. Supposedly part 2 is much better though?

hey man, nice to see another familiar face at assembler :D im all about arcade games but my SFC/SNES and PSX collections are also close to heart, mainly because they both have ace games never released on other formats.

G2 is like a watered down version of hagane, its an ok game but dont pay heaps of money for it, very nice boxart tho..

dont compare it to the absoluteley horrendous PCE game, that thing is foul, G2 is alot better!

ed: updated the pics with a better of my cab setup.

    Two questions:

1: Is the average Sweed's house in say, Helsinki large enough to sport a decent collection? I know very little about the country... other than some video clips of Swedish Maids I've downloaded off the internet.

2: Is the Taito ashtray stolen?

dunno if you were joking but.. helsinki is the capital of finland ;-)
well if you'd call my collection decent (3 cabs and a shelf of games) then yeah pretty much any house will store it, most apartments as well.

    sadly i dont have a maid :p

and yeah it is stolen :( since they refuse to sell them and i pumped a couple of hundred $s into their machines i snagged it as a souvenir, doesnt really keep me up at night..

    Hello sven,

    great PCB collection.
I have a request for you.
Can I have more detail on the Battle Garegga kit?
Is there an official box? Poster? or anything else?
One or two pictures will be so great.

I have the same request for Battle Bakraid, if you have more informations or picture about this game.

I think, finding "full kit" for those games is rather hard.
What is your secret source to get them?

    Thank you.
    See you

Hi, ill add pics later, my camera is down atm.

    anyways
garegga kit : factory box (same type as bakraid & batrider tho NOT brave blade), A4 flyer, A4 manual. sadly no poster tho id love to find one, i have the saturn poster so its not something im looking too hard for tho.

bakraid kit : factory box, A4 flyer, small poster (approx 2 A4s in size), A4 manual booklet. no other poster then the small one.

so as you can see aside from the moviesize posters theyre complete with everything that was released :)

finding the original small box for raizing games is indeed extremely rare.
luckily www.arcadekitsforcheap.com have them from time to time ;) (i wish, its all dedication and lots of time spent hunting im afraid).
do you also collect arcade kits?

I actually knew that... I don't know why the fuck Helsinki game out.

Well, 3 cabs is a lot of real estate... at least in the last two places I've lived (Tokyo and Hawaii). Houses have garages in Hawaii... my wife doesn't like houses though. I have enough space now, but there are arcades everywhere, so I'll live w/ my super gun.

Damn, where'd you get Metal Warriors? I still haven't found a complete one
for a decent price yet. It often gets a bad rap for being a US-developed sprite-rip fake-sequel, but I actually think it's among the best in the series.
