Some of his T-Shirts are great, most very clever, but I think he went too far with some of them. I am not surprised he closed down, death threats are not to be messed around with.
A joke is a joke and nothing more. Just because my t-shirt has a picture of Hitler holding a bouquet of flowers does not mean there will be a resurgence of the Nazi party and Holocaust II will occur. It's just a fucking t-shirt. It's a damn shame that the owner had to shut the site down.
They did have some funny stuff. I could see where you'd have to be retarded to wear some of those shirts in public though. I've browsed the site a few times and never bought anything, so it's not really a big deal to me.
He should just do what I do at my job when I deal with a stupid client. I put down the phone, swear like a trucker, talk about the stupidity with my co-workers, and feel like a new man!
Same technique i use, except replace "put down the phone" with "wait for the customer to walk out of the store".:icon_bigg
I couldn't always wait that long. :lol: We once had a Gurkha in who had paid for his computer to be upgraded. We couldn't upgrade it due to his case having proprietary front panel connectors (stupid Packard Bell). So we put it in a new case, at no charge. We had already done a part exchange on his old board, chip and RAM. The guy comes in and says his wife wants the old case back. I explain that it has special connectors and so the new board won't fit, so we gave him a brand new case and PSU for free. It took a while to get this to sink in. So he goes off, then comes back saying she wants the case anyway. I tried to explain to him that we swapped cases - he gets a brand new one, and we need the old case anyway for the special connectors so we can actually use the board. His wife insists that they keep the old case. After much explaining, it still hadn't sunk in. I ended up saying, "Look, the case has special connectors. We need this case because you sold us the board - the board is useless to us without the case. You can't put any other board in the case, and we're not giving you the board back - it's ours now." Still nothing. By then, I was so mad, I said.... "What's she going to do with it? Use it as a f**king plant pot?!?!"
