No. Foreigners with a permanent Resident visa of anything higher can apply for a Japanese pension. It's identical to the one that Japanese citizens get. The only problem is that if you want the full pension you must pay from the very beginning (age 22 I think) otherwise you'll get a subsidized one. My British one I can get even if I stay in Japan until I die. It's incredibly cheap to pay each week as well since I no longer use any British services such as police, hospitals, rubbish collection etc now that I live in Japan. If I did go back home though I'd have to start paying the full price from the date I returned.

You can't really lecture other people about the high cost of games when you're contributing to it by screwing stores out of (by your own admission) around $25 a game. I'm not bothered by your actions, it's up to you what you do, but you need to be honest about what you're doing.

Hmm... that's not what you said in this thread

Seems like you went to alot of work to nail me on that one lol.

Anyway I dont return and exchange for my money and crap like that. Thats what I ment. I dont swap from store to store to get cash back.

I do return games to get 2 keys IF they are required for a game to be able to lan it because thats just assine on the developers part.

Back in the day in WarCraft II and StarCraft I beleive you could install and smaller multiplayer only LAN version on any PC you wanted to, those were the days ^^

Games like C&C Generals wont let you lan on the same key as alot of games do. I can see not letting people online with the same key, but having CD protection on top of not letting people lan it is a problem.

Heh, I was reading that thread again recently after a PM with another member, I don't catalogue your every word, honestly ;)

If you're blagging the store for CD keys for LANs then it's not really any of my business. My assumption was that you were thieving keys for online play that would be sold on as new to another customer, which is out of order. Given the quote I think that was a reasonable assumption... No offence meant.

They are the ones who set the 90 day return, why am I wrong for taking advantage of a policy set by the company themselves?

They do that so they get my business, and indeed, they do.

I can see all this from both sides of the fence. I thinks its really a personal choice and a moral choice for each person.

I understand that companys and the goverment rip people off far worse each day then what we are talking about here and I can understand doing it and thinking its ok. But then again it can be seen as immoral and wrong if think of it as stealing.

It just boils down to if it affects your character or not and if you care. Doing anything we talk about in this thread dosent make you a bad person so Im not going to bother beating on people about it. Now if Assembler said he got good deals on things because he jacked the cashier with his AK then I would be all "thats not cool, that person is gonna be scred of AKs the rest of his life" lol

Anyway back to the actual topic I do only jack the keys for LAN. I dont sell any PC games on EBAY unless they are vintage because its not worth it anymore. The only one I sold ever was WoW because I hate that game -_-

Target set up their own policies and in America they know people will try to screw them over small print. I don't have a problem with the game returning thing for price matching, plenty of companies here to the same kind of thing to their customers over waranty wording and so on.

Buying a game and returning it after copying it/stealing the serial key is wrong - it's theft. The same goes for console games and installing said game onto your PS2 hard drive/dumping your PSP game.

To topic, Target also sometimes offer some really amazing console deals. Just recently Metroid Prime 2 for $8. A bargain if you just got a Wii. Unfortunately I didn't buy any at the time and they were gone the next time I visited.
